چکیده

Abstract Ecological restoration aims at supporting biodiversity and ecosystem services, urban greening is a great opportunity to achieve this goal. This facilitated by species-rich seed mixtures based on local provenances, which are designed for certain nutrient moisture regimes functional plant traits. Such grassland might be cultivated crushed waste bricks, would new component of water-holding substrates. Thus, we studied the effects brick quantity quality, acid pre-treatment soil type biomass mixtures. Three greenhouse experiments were conducted, with substrates consisting different ratios (5% vs. 30%), types (clean production demolition material), treatments (acid control) tested three trait-based non-regional commercial standard mixture. The included information specific leaf area, mass grass-to-legume ratio. There no negative texture biomass. Acid-treated clean porous bricks improved intermediate mixtures, while effect was minimal bricks. Designed had similar mixture under dry conditions but did not benefit from high like In conclusion, useful additive save raw material, specifically regional can replace these

Effects of Waste Fibers Stabilizers on the Draindown and Moisture Damage Sensitivity Properties of SMA Mixtures

Waste fibers produced from manufacturing processes are a byproduct commonly deposited in storing yards and/or landfills and thus results in many serious environmental problems in Iran. If these waste materials could be advantageously put to practical use in any application, it would reduce the burden on the environment and landfills. This paper compares the performance of the stone matrix aspha...

Effect of Urban Waste Compost Leachate on the Soil Physical, Hydraulic, Moisture Characteristics and Corn Yield

Compost leachate is a liquid resulting from physical, chemical and biological decomposition of organic materials. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of leachate compost on the physical, hydraulic and soil moisture characteristic curves. Also, the effect of leachate on the aerial organ fresh weight of corn was investigated. Leachate was added to clay loam and sandy cl...

Effects of Topography, Soil Moisture, Wind and Grazing on Festuca Seedlings in a Patagonian Grassland

The effects of topography, soil moisture, wind and grazing on the emergence and survival of seedlings of Festuca spp. were examined in the steppe zone of Patagonia, Argentina. Ungrazed and grazed field treatment plots were established on a plain and a north-facing slope at the Media Luna Ranch (43" 36' S, 71" 25' W). On the leeward and windward sides of each of 15 Festuca plants, 0.1 m x 0.4 m ...
